We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable
Class 2 Driver
to join our clients team on a
temp-to-perm basis
.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional driver looking for stable, Monday-to-Friday work with the potential to secure a permanent position.
? Working Hours- Monday to Thursday:7:30am 4:30pm
- Friday:6:30am 3:30pm
- Monday to Friday No weekend work
You will be responsible for carrying out
multi-drop deliveries
to customers, ensuring goods are delivered safely, accurately and on time. You will also be expected to provide a professional and friendly service when dealing with customers.
- Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently.
- Completing multi-drop deliveries according to the daily schedule.
- Ensuring all deliveries are accurate and goods arrive in good condition.
- Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate records.
- Providing excellent customer service at each delivery.
- Acting as a professional representative of the company when dealing with customers.
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety and maintenance checks.
- Keeping the delivery vehicle clean and presentable.
- Reporting any vehicle faults, delivery issues or quality concerns to management.
- Supporting the warehouse team occasionally when required by the business.
- Valid UK Class 2 (Category
C) driving licence. - Previous
multi-drop delivery experience
is preferred. - Good knowledge of UK roads and delivery routes.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Good time-management and organisational skills.
- Physically fit and comfortable with loading and unloading goods.
- Reliable, punctual and professional.
- Able to work independently and manage a busy delivery schedule.
- Good attention to detail and a positive attitude.
The majority of your working day will be spent
out on the road completing deliveries
. However, on occasions, you may be required to spend a day working within the warehouse depending on business requirements.
