Thistle Seafoods are currently seeking a receptionist to join a key function within the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting a number of internal departments alongside meeting and greeting visitors and monitoring the phones.
Key Duties/Responsibilities- Based on main reception meeting and greeting visitors.
- Taking calls on the switchboard and connecting to relevant departments.
- Confident speaking with both customers and suppliers on the phone.
- Raising purchase orders and working closely with the finance team to assist with all aspects of invoicing.
- Assisting with administration for several different departments.
- Supporting senior management team in ad hoc tasks and organising meetings.
- Candidates must have the ability to prioritise a demanding workload and have strong organisational skills.
- They must be able to remain calm under pressure and work to tight deadlines.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am-5.00pm, with no hybrid working offered for this role.
