• Lead and manage a team of teaching staff within the school and assigned curricular areas.
• Support and deliver quality education to assigned pupils.
• Contribute to the furtherance of the school aims and values, learning, personal responsibility, respect for self and others, maximising and recognising attainment, achievement and responsible social attitudes.
• Demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.

Fixed term for a period not exceeding 1 July 2027.

Salary will be in accordance with SNCT agreements. The grade for this position may be subject to change and will be resized on an annual basis, in line with the SNCT Handbook, effective from 1 August each year.

Post holder will undergo required pre‑employment checks including PVG and, if applicable, Overseas Criminal Record Check.

• Regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
• Preferred candidate must join the PVG Scheme or undergo an update check.
• Must be GTC Scotland registered or eligible to be fully registered.
• Eligible to receive salary in accordance with SNCT agreements.
• Provide a minimum of one reference from current or most recent employer.

• Pre‑employment checks will be deemed satisfactory for a confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post.
