STPSW - Carer; s

(support can be covered by more than one carer)

8.30 – 10am, 1- 2pm & 6 - 7.30pm

Family looking for caring, warm and friendly individual(s) to provide support to an elderly couple, within their own home.

Both have dementia and lady currently in hospital but cannot return home without care.

They will require assistance with some aspects of personal care, washing/showering/bathing, dressing, meals, applying creams & prompting medication.

Looking for a carer(s) who will be understanding of their needs, to be adaptable to their changing needs, but at the same time allowing them to keep as much independence as possible.

You bring experience in supporting someone in a social care setting or at home and it would be invaluable if you had an understanding of caring for someone that has dementia.

Always open to someone who does not come from a care background.
