Support Practitioner (Female only)
Join us at Cornerstone as a Support Practitioner. This part‑time (20 or 30 hours per week) permanent role is based in Peterhead and works with 11 individuals living in self‑contained flats.
About the roleAs a Support Practitioner you will provide support with day‑to‑day activities including cooking, housework, finances, personal care, medication, and assist individuals in achieving their personal goals and participating in the local community.
Responsibilities- Support daily living activities for residents
- Assist with cooking, baking and household management
- Help residents with finances and medication administration
- Participate in goal‑setting and community engagement activities
- Full UK manual driving licence, with at least one year driving experience (to drive residents’ mobility cars)
- Good listening and communication skills
- A caring attitude and positive approach to learning
- Understanding of routines and guidelines
- Ability to cook (baking is a bonus)
Hours are spread over 4 or 5 days per week, including early mornings, daytime and evenings, with public holidays and weekends rotating.

We will fund your SVQ (SCQF Level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees. Successful candidates must join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and register with the SSSC within three months of starting.
