About the role:
We are currently seeking a Stores Person on a permanent basis to join our team in Peterhead.
The Stores person is responsible for the administration and processing of the goods in and out of operations.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, standards and work instructions
- Working at the Goods In area for unloading/receiving deliveries for Score Energy
- Following correct procedures when recording deliveries, receipting Purchase Orders and Return Orders
- Organisation of Goods In/Out area and maximise laydown area
- Assist with courier collections and ensure AWB’s and shipping documentation is present on handover
- Reporting any day to day issues or queries to stores team leader
- Recycling and disposal of packaging materials and general housekeeping of disposal area
- Assisting the repair dispatch team during busy periods with shipping customer owned product
- SVQ level 2 Warehousing and Stores or equivalent is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
- A valid driving licence is essential
• Previous experience within a Stores or warehouse environment is preferred - Previous experience of the equipment and machinery used within a stores/warehouse environment, including forklifts is preferred
- Basic computer skills are essential
- Familiarity with import and export process is desirable
- Previous working knowledge of Dangerous Goods Air, Sea & Road standard is desirable
- Professional approach appropriate to the role
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Produces good quality work in a timely manner
- Team worker, supportive, adaptable, accepts challenge, pro‑active
- Sound organisational skills and structured working methods
- Integrity, open, honest, enthusiastic and a good team player
