Gate Person

Job Type: Full-Time, Long-Term Contract

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday – 9-hour days (increasing to 12-hour shifts from Spring 2026)

Overview:

Corrie Recruitment is seeking a Gate Person for a major five-year energy infrastructure project near Peterhead.

You will be responsible for managing site access, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating vehicle movements at a busy construction site entrance.

Key Responsibilities:

* Control and monitor all vehicle and personnel movements entering and exiting site

* Maintain accurate gate records

* Liaise with delivery drivers, plant operators, and site management

* Direct and coordinate vehicle movements safely and efficiently

* Ensure compliance with site security, traffic, and safety procedures

* Provide general support to the logistics and site teams as required

Requirements:

* Valid CSCS card

* Previous site gate or logistics experience highly advantageous

* Strong communication skills

Conditions:

* Competitive hourly rate (PAYE)

* Full-time, long-term opportunity on a major project

* Monday–Friday schedule, with 9-hour days (moving to 12-hour shifts in 2026)

* Night shift opportunities also available
