Freelance Civils Site Manager
Location:
Peterlee (initial scheme)

Freelance (Temp to Perm for the right person)
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard of quality.
Key Responsibilities- Managing site activities and subcontractors
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Coordinating labour, plant, and materials
- Liaising with the project team, clients, and suppliers
- Maintaining site records, RAMS, and progress reporting
- Ensuring works are delivered on time and within scope
- Proven experience as a Civils Site Manager within civil engineering
- Strong knowledge of groundworks, drainage, and associated civils works
- SMSTS, CSCS (Gold or Black), and First Aid (essential)
- Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain site discipline
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Competitive freelance rate

- Initial project in Peterlee, with potential for further schemes across the North East
