Healthcare Support Assistant – SEN Setting

Location: Peterlee Pay: £90–£110 per day Contract: Full-Time

This Healthcare Support Assistant role supports pupils with a range of medical, physical and emotional needs in a specialist school environment.

You will play a key role in ensuring pupils feel safe, supported and able to engage with their education.

The role involves:

• Supporting pupils’ health and wellbeing needs
• Providing reassurance and emotional support
• Supporting mobility and physical care where required
• Working collaboratively with teaching and pastoral staff
• Promoting independence wherever possible

Experience in healthcare, SEN or care settings is highly beneficial.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
