Position: KS4 English Teacher (Temporary)
We are seeking a dedicated and engaging KS4 English Teacher to join a college in Peterlee on a supply basis from March 2nd until the Easter break. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is passionate about supporting learners and delivering high-quality English lessons.

Hours:

* Monday: 8:30am – 4:30pm

* Tuesday: 8:30am – 4:30pm

* Wednesday: 8:30am – 2:30pm

* Thursday: 8:30am – 2:30pm

* Friday: 8:30am – 12:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver effective and inspiring English lessons to KS4 learners

* Plan and adapt resources to support a range of learning needs

* Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment

* Assess and track student progress in line with college policies

* Work collaboratively with the English department and wider staff team
Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification

* Experience teaching English at KS4 level

* Strong classroom management skills

* Ability to engage and motivate learners

* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
