We're currently looking for dedicated Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistants in Peterlee and nearby regions to join our team of educators. Minimum Essential Requirements- Right to work in the UK
- Minimum of 2 references
- Enhanced DBS clearance
- Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant or Level 6 Qualification - Degree
- Experience working in a primary school
- Provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children
- Support school staff to facilitate the active participation of children in academic and social activities of a school
- Contribute to raising standards of achievement for all pupils
- Implement the daily routine
- When directed, plan and implement age‑appropriate activities in conjunction with other staff
- Assist children with personal/intimate care
- Regularly evaluate children’s development and keep records as directed by the teacher
- Liaise with parents/carers only when directed by a school’s class teacher
- Uphold the Ripple Education ethos and all safeguarding requirements, ensuring that children are supervised at all times
- Ensure the provision of a high‑quality environment to meet the needs of individual children at each stage of development
- Ability to work flexibly
- Participate in training
- Commitment to ensuring a safe environment for children, with thorough knowledge and understanding of safeguarding procedures
