SEN Teaching Assistant - Autism Support

A specialist SEN school in Peterlee is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition and communication needs.

• Supporting pupils within lessons and structured activities

• Supporting sensory regulation strategies
• Assisting with emotional and behavioural support
• Working collaboratively with the wider SEN team

• Have SEN or care experience desirable
• Be patient, adaptable and resilient
• Have strong interpersonal skills
• Be passionate about supporting children with Autism

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
