Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30am-4:15pm | Friday 8:30am-3:15pm
We are seeking a confident and resilient individual to join a school as a Trainee Teaching Assistant focusing on behaviour and pastoral support.
This position is perfect for applicants from care, youth work, coaching, customer service, or support work backgrounds.
Duties Include- Supporting students throughout the school day
- Encouraging attendance and engagement
- Assisting with classroom learning activities
- Helping students manage emotions and overcome barriers to learning
- Supporting restorative conversations and behaviour strategies
- Working closely with teaching and pastoral staff
- Calm and professional approach
- Excellent relationship-building skills
- Positive attitude towards supporting young people
- Ability to remain resilient in challenging situations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
