Engineering Maintenance Technician; Single and Dual Discipline

• + 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 of above (including English, Maths and Science)
• + 3 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above (including English, Maths, Science) AND Level 2 Performing Engineering Operations (PEO)
• + 3 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above and GCSE in an Engineering related subject
• + 3 GCSEs Grade 4 or above AND A-Level in Engineering or Science related subject

Engineering Maintenance Technician (Single and Dual Discipline), Caterpillar Peterlee is the worldwide source of Cat® Articulated Trucks, currently producing an 8-model range used in many industries including mining, construction, and aggregates. The facility's manufacturing activities use the latest computer analysis techniques, robotic technology, and a state‑of‑the‑art paint plant. Machines from the site are shipped to customers around the world.

During the course of the apprenticeship, students will work towards achieving their qualification supported by their line manager, technical mentor and Organisation, Talent and Development team in addition to their academic learning through their training provider and work‑based assessor.

• Salary: £15,184 (will increase in line with the academic calendar each year rising to circa £37,000)
