My client, an expanding commercial property company, based in Peterlee, are looking for a perm full time Maintenance Technician to join their small team and co-manage 3 large buildings. Due to one of the team retiring in December, we would be looking for the ideal candidate to start in November, so there will sufficient time for a handover. Training will be given but experience in the following is essential -
- Ensure correct office temperature is maintained on a BMS heating/cooling system, which includes preventative maintenance
- Checking filters and air flow
- General Building maintenance (Doors, Locks, Lights, Ceiling tiles, Water leaks, Toilets)
Duties would include -
- Heating/ Boiler (BMS Knowledge is preferable)
- Plumbing / Toilet system Maintenance
- Joinery work
- Electrical work
Hours of work are a morning shift 6:30am
-14:30pm Monday - Friday
The role is a key holder role, so you must have your own transport to be on site for 6:30am.
