CNC Operator

RMS are working with a well-established metal fabrication company seeking a reliable and motivated CNC Operator to join their production team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC operator looking to work in a busy manufacturing environment.

Location:

Peterlee
Hours of Work:
Monday – Thursday 7:45AM until 4:45PM
Friday 7:45AM until 1:45PM

Contract:

Temp to Perm (40 hours per week)
Pay Rate: £15 per hour
Overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours worked.

Key Responsibilities

Operating CNC machinery safely and efficiently.
Loading and unloading materials and finished components.
Monitoring machine performance and carrying out basic quality checks.
Reading and following production drawings and job specifications.
Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
Working to production targets while ensuring high quality standards.
Requirements

Previous experience operating CNC machinery.
Good understanding of manufacturing and production processes.
Ability to work accurately and efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
FLT (Forklift Truck) Licence preferred, but not essential.
Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
