General Operator

RMS are working with a well-established metal fabrication company looking for a reliable and hardworking General Operator to join their manufacturing team. This role would suit someone with previous experience in assembly work, factory production, or a general manufacturing environment.

Location:

Peterlee
Hours of Work:
Monday – Thursday 7:45AM until 4:45PM
Friday 7:45AM until 1:45PM

Contract:

Temp to Perm (40 hours per week)
Pay Rate: £14.58 per hour
Overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours worked.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting with the assembly of products and components.
Supporting production and manufacturing operations.
Handling materials and preparing components for processing.
Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area.
Working as part of a team to meet production targets.
Requirements

Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or general factory work.
Good attention to detail and quality standards.
Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently.
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
