Motor Vehicle Parts Technician

Contract:

Full time, permanent, 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday

Closing Date: 5pm, Friday 28th August 2026

To ensure the smooth operation of a Fleet ICT motor vehicle parts department & systems.

• To identify, order parts and replenish stocks daily ensuring that minimum adequate stock levels and high vehicle availability are maintained.
• To arrange supply of parts and deliveries, for the Fleet workshop. Collection of vehicle parts as required from suppliers.
• To issue workshop Technicians with vehicle parts and supplies. To discuss parts supply requirements with Vehicle Technicians and Fleet Workshop Supervisors.
• To check invoices against original orders ensuring correct prices and discounts have been stated and recorded
• To meet manufacturers and suppliers representatives in order to maintain an up to date product knowledge and cost effective parts provision.

• City & Guilds Level III/ A Levels/or BTEC National in a relevant subject or an approved equivalent e.g. Parts & Distribution
• At least one years technical experience
• To possess a full, current driving licence or have access to a means of mobility support

The certificate must indicate that they have not been convicted of any offence whilst in that country or involved in any investigation by a Law Enforcement Agency.
