Shipping​/Receiving Clerk

Responsibilities

• Work closely with all departments including Planning, Transportation and outside vendors.
• Maintaining professional communication and interactions at all times.
• Responsible for scheduling and maintaining shift work schedule, working with management staff to plan daily workloads accordingly.
• Assembling all of the paperwork needed for the work day.
• Responsible for all incoming paperwork and documentation.
• Verify paperwork for accuracy and discrepancies.
• Distributes all related paperwork to appropriate person(s) or department(s).
• Filing and recordkeeping responsibility.
• Communication of any concerns with workloads and paperwork to appropriate person(s) or department(S).
• Assist with training/cross training teammates.
• Following proper SSOP’s, GMP’S, HACCP and other plant rules.
• Tasks completed in a timely manner.
• Capable of operating and knowing all distribution center equipment. Being able to identify technical issues and communicate to your supervisor or appropriate department.
• Duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

• High School diploma, GED equivalency
• Minimum of two (2) years of college preferred
• Preferred three (3) years related experience in a distribution environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
