• Provide quality care to children in a daycare setting
• Create and implement age‑appropriate educational activities
• Foster a safe and supportive learning environment
• Monitor and supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities
• Collaborate with other teachers to plan and coordinate daily routines
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress

• 1 year of previous experience in childcare or daycare settings
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles
• Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Certification in Early Childhood Education is a plus
• Experience working with infants, toddlers, preschool, and school‑age children is preferred
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Childcare training
• Virginia Health and Safety for Childcare staff 10‑hr training
• At least 1 year of lead teacher experience
