Slot Bench Technician - Petersburg

This role involves repairing, maintaining, and monitoring the operation of assigned electronic gaming devices, filling payout reserve containers, and participating in the physical move of slot-related equipment.

• Repair damaged gaming parts to the satisfaction of the Slot Assistant Technical Manager.
• Maintain proper maintenance of shop equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair circuitry and electrical components on a board level.
• Read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, procedures, and manuals.
• Document VLT verifications, tests, and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with gaming laws (federal and state).
• Provide excellent service to guests and employees, maintaining professionalism.
• Follow departmental internal controls, policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Prior electronic repair experience required.
• Strong aptitude for detailed mechanical and electrical work, with high accuracy.
• Experience with assembly, maintenance, and repair of bill validators, printers, CPUs, monitors.
• Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Proficiency with basic and advanced electrical and mechanical tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, and nights.

• High School Diploma or GED; two-year electronic degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to work in environments with alcohol, cigarette, and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
• Must obtain and maintain licensure as required by the Virginia Gaming Control Board or other regulatory bodies.

• Must be able to move efficiently throughout the casino, which is over 300,000 sq ft.
• Standing 15%, walking 80%, sitting 5%, keyboarding 5%.
• Ability to ascend and descend stairs multiple times daily and use elevators.
