Amsted Rail Petersburg is seeking a skilled Machinist to join the machine shop team. You will set up, program, operate, monitor, and disassemble CNC and manual machines to fabricate and repair dies, tools, jigs, fixtures, and gauges per Amsted Rail specs.
Responsibilities include reading CAD/CAM files, adjusting setups for tolerances, building fixtures, and presenting finished work pieces to customers with required modifications. Safety and quality are emphasized throughout the role.
