• Utilizing strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status
• Implementing clinical nursing interventions
• Having a highly diverse medical skillset
• Developing and performing patient care plans to enhance and improve outcomes
• Ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Collect vital signs, administer IV medications, understand charting, and assess patient condition
• Assess, stage, photograph, and measure wounds accurately and in accordance with policy
• Evaluate, update, and revise the plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes
• Administer medications in a safe manner consistent with the State of Practice and the organization’s policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

• Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association
• Wound Care Certification (WOCN Wound or WWC Wound Care Certification) – required within 3 years of hire

• Recent RN experience in acute care and wound care (required)
• Two (2) years of wound care experience as a Registered Nurse (preferred, not required)

• EPIC Electronic Health Record training (preferred, not required)
