Southside Regional Medical Center is your community health care provider, a 300-bed facility located on a 50-acre campus with nearly 400 physicians representing more than 40 specialties. Job Summary- Utilizing strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status
- Implementing clinical nursing interventions
- Having a highly diverse medical skillset
- Developing and performing patient care plans to enhance and improve outcomes
- Ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
- Collect vital signs, administer IV medications, understand charting, and assess patient condition
- Assess, stage, photograph, and measure wounds accurately and in accordance with policy
- Evaluate, update, and revise the plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes
- Administer medications in a safe manner consistent with the State of Practice and the organization’s policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
- Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association
- Wound Care Certification (WOCN Wound or WWC Wound Care Certification) – required within 3 years of hire
- Recent RN experience in acute care and wound care (required)
- Two (2) years of wound care experience as a Registered Nurse (preferred, not required)
- EPIC Electronic Health Record training (preferred, not required)
