• Unit:
  Telemetry Neuro Unit (5W) Neuro/Telemetry nursing
• Setting: 30-bed unit (flexes to 35 beds)
• Employment Type:
  
  Travel RN Contract
• Shift: 12-hour Nights; every other weekend/holiday required
• Hours per Week: 36
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 11/3/2025, End: 1/31/2026)
• Interview:
  No interview required quick start!
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,880 – $2,020

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia or compact state (Registered Nurse license required)
• BLS certification and NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience
• At least 1 year of travel nursing experience preferred
• Must reside at least 50 miles from facility (travel nurse eligibility)
• Dysrhythmia exam required (study guide provided)
• EPIC EHR experience preferred
• Ability to float to other med/surg units as needed

RN Responsibilities Telemetry Neuro Unit

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications safely in accordance with hospital and nursing standards
• Coordinate patient care, acting as a liaison between departments, families, and caregivers
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms (Monitor Techs available for support)
• Provide care for adult patients with CVA/TIA, peritoneal dialysis, hypertension, diabetes, and other medical/surgical conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to promote patient safety and quality improvement
• Float to other medical/surgical units as required
• Maintain professionalism, compassion, and adaptability in a fast-paced hospital setting
• Adhere infection control and patient safety protocols
