Cashier responsibilities include receiving payments, issuing receipts, and keeping track of all cash and credit transactions. To succeed in this role, previous experience in a customer service position and good knowledge of how cash registers operate are preferred.

• Operate cash register to cash out guests.
• Answer phones, greet customers, and keep track of seat availability in restaurants.
• Assist with bussing and cleaning tables.
• Perform duties in an interruptive environment under frequent time pressures.
• Ensure the safety and security of employees and customers.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Use cash register systems.
• Read and follow basic instructions.
• Use a telephone; hear and speak clearly.
• Knowledge of alcohol awareness and sanitation regulations.
• Strong work ethic, high energy, attention to detail.
• Basic math and computer skills.

Must-Haves:

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by relevant regulatory entities.

Physical Requirements:

• Stand and walk continually during shifts.
• Bend, stoop, reach, and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Use stairs and elevators.
