The Retail Service Specialist will support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations. This position will assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of Assistant or Store Manager.

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom to include team member execution on customer service programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc…).
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store‑to‑store transfers, and DC add orders timely; notify customers upon shipment arrivals as needed.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure, utilizing electronic outside purchase order ledger.
• Process retail customer returns and exchanges efficiently; issue refunds accurately using the correct payment methods; process or stage returned merchandise in the returns area correctly.
• Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, is invoiced before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Enforce adherence to posted work schedule; approve changes/deviations by management; ensure clock‑in/out according to company policy.
• Perform all store opening/closing duties, including day‑end procedures, verify/securing deposits, preparing bank deposits, ensuring night security lights, locking doors, arming/disarming security alarms, and securing delivery vehicles.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
