• Initiates all physical price changes at the store and verifies prices of items throughout the store by randomly performing price checks.
• Ensures accuracy of pricing data between sales floor, database, and automated pricing systems.
• Maintain accurate and legible labels and signage on shelves.
• Helping customers locate merchandise in multiple departments and informing customer of product knowledge that may be helpful. Greet all customers within 10 feet.
• Assists with product location in conjunction with Inventory Clerk to cultivate new and engaging ways to display and sell more products.
• Work with management to suggest pricing changes based on inventory, demand, and profitability.
• Provides administrative assistance through running routine pricing reports as well as ad hoc reports
• Compares printed labels with entries on purchase order and/or merchandise to verify accuracy and notifies supervisor of discrepancies.
• Removing damaged merchandise from floor as needed, which includes inventory adjustments of broken, stolen or buy back merchandise to help keep store inventories accurate.
• Works closely with front end cashiers and supervisors regarding pricing accuracy.
• Informs management of any problem areas in pricing or signs throughout the store.
• Prepares and submits all required paperwork and reports.
• Any and all other duties assigned by management

• High School Diploma or GED
• Associates Degree in Business or related field a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft office suite, especially excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Be a self-starter who is motivated and likes to stay busy.
• 1+ year(s) related merchandizing experience strongly preferred
• RF Scanner experience a plus
• Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

During the job, employees are regularly required to stand, sit, and/or walk for extended periods, use their hands to handle or control objects, and perform tasks that involve reaching, climbing, kneeling, or crouching. The role involves frequently lifting or moving up to 25 pounds, with occasional requirements to handle more with assistance or equipment. Employees must also be able to push and pull using various equipment.

Specific vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, are necessary. Verbal communication and the ability to hear are also required for safety and coordination.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment can get loud at times.
