DescriptionTeam Fishel, the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is hiring Foremen for duct bank project work in the Petersburg, VA area. The purpose of a Foreman at Team Fishel is to manage the job site situations, maintain a safe working environment and be accountable for quality and productivity.
Responsibilities- Review plans and permits
- Establish daily crew goals
- Communicate with customer
- Monitor progress
- Evaluate Teammate performance and provide coaching
- Valid Class A Commercial Drivers License strongly preferred
- Competent Person Training in trenching and excavation
- Certification in First Aid/CPR desired
- Basic aerial placement desired
- Three years related experience in construction, including duct bank and manhole installation
- Ability to communicate with Teammates and customers
- Backhoe, Excavator, Trencher Operator desired
- Knowledge of shoring and concrete estimation
