Maintenance Technician

Overview

BECO Asset Management, LLC is currently seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at 1200 Acqua Luxury Apartments in Petersburg, VA

• Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs
• Complete work orders and service requests in a timely and professional manner
• Prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents (unit turns), including painting, repairs, and cleaning
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls as part of an on-call rotation (includes nights/weekends—generous call pay provided)
• Maintain the overall cleanliness and condition of the property’s physical assets and grounds
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies
• Collaborate with the Community Manager and other team members to provide excellent resident service

• 1+ year of experience in apartment or residential maintenance preferred
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and carpentry
• HVAC certification is a plus
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow, etc.)
• Available for night and weekend on-call duty
• Must be organized, self-motivated, and able to prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to professionalism and customer service
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
