Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure all work is performed according to safety standards with a focus on quality customer service
• Supervise a directional drill crew, making sure work is compliant with established job specifications and standards
• Serve as point of contact with company crews, inspectors, subcontractors and vendors
• Operate a variety of equipment including but not limited to directional drills and locators
• Provide support to other construction activities
• Provide updates on project progress as required
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum five years of directional drilling and locating experience
• Ability to read and interpret blue prints
• Knowledge of utility depths and placements
• General knowledge of construction practices
• Proven ability to lead others
• Class A CDL license with acceptable driving record

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time
• Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas
• Must be able to lift, push, and carry 50 – 70 pounds
• Must be able to work in various conditions, including but not limited to extreme heat and cold

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to work Monday – Friday 7:00AM – 5:00PM; additional work, including on-call, may be required
• Must be willing to travel as needed (Monday – Friday)
