Automotive Certified CDJR / Stellantis Technician – Brown Motors

Apply for a full‑time technician role at Brown Motors, supporting a growing Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram business. Candidates will receive training and onboarding support to achieve mastery in Stellantis repair systems.

Brown Motors is expanding its service operation and hiring a Certified Stellantis Technician. While Master Certified technicians are preferred, experienced Stellantis‑certified technicians who consistently deliver high quality work are also welcome.

This position offers the opportunity to work in a brand‑new, well‑equipped facility with strong leadership, consistent workflow, and a focus on doing the job right. Technicians are respected, supported, and given the tools and structure needed to succeed long term.

Guaranteed pay is provided during onboarding and ramp‑up, enabling new technicians to transition confidently while learning processes and building efficiency. Work is dispatched fairly and consistently, with a focus on productivity, efficiency, and technician success.

The schedule is Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays. No Sundays. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates looking to move to northern Michigan.

  • Level I: $25.73
  • Level II: $28.38
  • Level III: $29.97
  • Master: $34.27
  • Senior Master: $36.35
• Performance Bonuses
  • 46–50 flat‑rate hours: $1.75 per hour
  • 50.1–55 hours: $3.00 per hour
  • 55.1–60 hours: $4.00 per hour
  • Over 60.1 hours: $6.00 per hour
• Heavy Truck Premium – Additional $2.00 per flat‑rate hour for heavy‑duty and commercial truck work
• Training and Technician Support
  • All training is paid

  • $100 prescription safety glasses allowance every five years

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles in accordance with Stellantis standards
• Perform light‑, heavy‑, diesel‑, and fleet repairs as required
• Complete warranty, customer pay, and internal repair orders accurately and efficiently
• Perform thorough inspections and clearly document findings and recommendations
• Use dealership‑provided tools, equipment, and diagnostic systems to ensure safe, high‑quality repairs
• Maintain required certifications through ongoing paid training
• Collaborate effectively with service advisors and leadership to support a strong customer experience

• Stellantis certification preferred;
  Master Certification strongly valued
• Proven diagnostic and repair experience on Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to first‑time quality repairs
• Ability to work effectively within a structured, process‑driven shop environment
• Professional attitude with a high level of reliability and accountability
• Availability to work Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays
