Job Description
Brown Motors is expanding our service operation and hiring a Certified Stellantis Technician to support a growing Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram business. We are actively seeking Master Certified technicians, however will also consider experienced Stellantis-certified technicians who consistently deliver high-quality work.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a brand-new, well-equipped facility with strong leadership, consistent workflow, and a clear focus on doing the job right. Technicians are respected, supported, and given the tools and structure needed to succeed long term.
Guaranteed pay is provided during the onboarding and ramp-up period, allowing new technicians to transition with confidence while learning processes and building efficiency. Work is dispatched fairly and consistently, with a focus on productivity, efficiency, and technician success.
The service operation provides a steady volume of work supported by continued growth. The schedule is Monday through Friday with some Saturdays as needed. No Sundays. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates looking to move to northern Michigan.
Compensation OverviewCompensation is based on certification level and experience and is paid on a flat rate structure, supplemented by performance bonuses and specialty work premiums.
Flat Rate Pay by Certification Level- Level I: $25.73
- Level II: $28.38
- Level III: $29.97
- Master: $34.27
- Senior Master: $36.35
- 46–50 flat rate hours: $1.75 per hour
- 50.1–55 hours: $3.00 per hour
- 55.1–60 hours: $4.00 per hour
- Over 60.1 hours: $6.00 per hour
Additional $2.00 per flat rate hour for heavy-duty and commercial truck work
Training and Technician Support- All training is paid

- Diagnose, repair, and maintain Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles in accordance with Stellantis standards
- Perform light-duty, heavy-duty, diesel, and fleet repairs as required
- Complete warranty, customer pay, and internal repair orders accurately and efficiently
- Perform thorough inspections and clearly document findings and recommendations
- Use dealership-provided tools, equipment, and diagnostic systems to ensure safe, high-quality repairs
- Maintain required certifications through ongoing paid training
- Collaborate effectively with service advisors and leadership to support a strong customer experience
- Stellantis certification preferred. Master Certification strongly valued
- Proven diagnostic and repair experience on Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to first-time quality repairs
- Ability to work effectively within a structured, process-driven shop environment
- Professional attitude with a high level of reliability and accountability
- Availability to work Monday through Friday with some Saturdays as needed
