Look into Your Day

The Full Time Branch Manager position at Mercantile Bank offers an exciting opportunity to manage our Virtual (limited services) Branch offices located in Petoskey and Traverse City. You will be responsible for achieving sales goals while ensuring the efficient operation of both branches and supervising staff effectively, both in‑person and virtually. A self‑starter with strong decision‑making and communication skills, you'll lead your team in delivering superior service and support to bank customers.

This role requires frequent travel to both locations, allowing you to maintain a strong presence in each market.

You will cultivate banking relationships with Commercial, Mortgage, and Treasury partners while actively promoting our brand within the community. Additionally, you will oversee staff development and training, implement internal controls to ensure compliance, and engage in cross‑selling products to enhance customer relationships. Through your leadership, you will foster a culture of excellence where customer focus is paramount, and team success is a shared goal.
