Job DescriptionThe Finished Product Packer is responsible for moving finished plastic product safely from end of line into correct packaging and onto a skid. They verify the work order to ensure the skids and pallet patterns meet customer specifications, communicate with the Line Operator if the finished goods do not meet requirements, and maintain good housekeeping practices on assigned lines.
$2.00/hour shift premium if working on the night shift!
Schedule:
8 a–8 p for day shift, or 8 p–8 a for night shift. Alternating 3‑ and 4‑shift weeks.
Petoskey, MI plant. Production setting: standing up to 12 hours per shift, lifting product from table height to pallet positioned on floor. Move skids of product with a pallet jack up to 15 feet. Use packaging tools such as measuring tape, pallet jack, glue gun, tape gun, cut gloves and box cutters. Physically capable of frequently climbing, bending, lifting up to 60 pounds, pushing, pulling, twisting, and reaching.
Able to work in hot or cold temperatures.
