Licensed Practical Nurse, Long Term Care (Night Shift)

ARMStaffing is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse, Long Term Care (Night Shift) in Petoskey, Michigan.

Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours guaranteed each week.

Job Description:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will assist staff nurses in the treatment and care of patients according to the established methods and procedures of the hospital. The LPN will work under the direct supervision of the department manager/director, charge nurse, or staff nurse/team leader, and strive for superior performance by positively impacting the patient and family experience. Understanding and demonstrating a commitment to patient and family-centered care is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in providing treatment and care for patients in accordance with hospital procedures.
• Support nursing staff in daily patient care tasks.
• Maintain accurate patient records as required.
• Contribute to a patient-centered care approach.

Required Experience:

2+ years of long-term care experience.

Certifications/Licensure:

• BLS certification (American Heart Association) is required.
• Current Michigan LPN licensure.
