Superintendent – Road Construction

Our Client, a specialty contractor in barriers and markings, is seeking to add a Superintendent to the team in Pewaukee, WI covering the Southeast portion of Wisconsin. This full‑time role requires an aggressive schedule: 10‑12 hour days from April to October (the "ON" season) and less than 8 hour days from November to March (the "OFF" season). Travel during the ON season is primarily day‑travel, with occasional hotel stays, and the incumbent will spend about 95% of the time  position pays $105,000–$125,000 with a 10‑15% discretionary bonus program and includes a company vehicle.

• Play a critical role in construction practices and projects related to pavement marking operations.
• Manage a team and provide leadership to field teammates.
• Lead crews in job and project management in the shop and on worksites.
• Schedule crews and projects daily.
• Communicate with contractors and other teammates as necessary.
• Ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Be mindful of budgets in the field and in the shop.

• 10+ years experience in the general construction field.
• 5+ years experience in road construction or pavement marking industry.
• 5+ years experience in a management role.
• Superior understanding of blueprints (read and comprehend).
• Knowledge of scheduling work teams and material.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of tools to include Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Capability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds during the workday and up to 100 pounds in the shop, due to maintenance.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.

• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Software experience with BTW/Trimble.
• Software experience Vista by Viewpoint.
