Senior Automation Engineer – Industrial Systems & Commissioning

Industry: Engineering and Information Technology – Business Consulting and Services. The role reports to the Service Manager and is permanent,-time (W‑2).

Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA (within 45‑minute drive from residence). No relocation.

Up to $120,000 per year with full benefits.

Domestic and international travel to customer sites up to 25% of the time.

Full‑time, permanent, W‑2 employee. Onsite; remote not allowed.

• Evaluating customer needs and designing custom industrial automation machines.
• Designing electrical controls, power distribution, and electrical hardware.
• Programming PLCs, HMI’s, robots, servos, and vision systems.
• Testing and servicing custom machines.
• Creating quotes for customers.
• Working with front‑line teams to deliver solutions and meet customer expectations.
• Traveling domestically and internationally to customer sites (up to 25%).

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• 5+ years of professional experience as a Control Systems Engineer in industrial automation.
• 2+ years of PLC and HMI programming with Allen‑Bradley and Siemens products.
• 2+ years of electrical machine design experience.
• Experience implementing machine safety standards and industrial communication networks.
• Solid work history and proven technical problem‑solving skills.
• U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder) required.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.
• Residence within a 45‑minute drive from workplace.
