Machine Control Specialist

Payne & Dolan is looking for a self‑motivated, results‑oriented, problem‑solver to join our growing engineering and land surveying practice supporting our projects.

• Support machine control system installations and troubleshoot system errors.
• Perform system repairs, routine maintenance, and software upgrades.
• Read construction plans and understand contract documents.
• Create 3D digital terrain models based on project documents for use in automated machine control grading equipment.
• Verify the presence and accuracy of survey control information and perform site calibrations.
• Set supplemental control and complete level loops.
• Assemble and transfer all job packets to the field crews.
• Develop and maintain company standards for AMG to ensure conformance with the project plans.

• Reliable, efficient self‑starter with initiative and a sense of responsibility.
• Effective communication by telephone, in written form, email, and in person.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records and field notes.
• Valid Driver's License and insurable by insurance standards.

• Certs, Equipment Experience, CDL & CDL Endorsement.
