Full-Time Direct Hire Salary: $105,000 - $125,000 per year Comprehensive Benefits Package You’ll take ownership of complex mechanical designs while working closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, Sales, customers, and suppliers.
This role offers the opportunity to influence products throughout the entire development lifecycle—from initial customer requirements and detailed CAD design through prototyping, validation, engineering changes, and production launch.
Key Responsibilities Lead the development of robust, manufacturable mechanical designs based on customer technical requirements.
Create, review, and approve detailed 3D models, drawings, parts, and assemblies using CAD software.
Analyze engineering sketches, specifications, and technical data to establish design factors, tolerances, and performance requirements.
Design with a strong focus on manufacturability, cost, quality, reliability, and performance.
Lead and participate in design reviews while documenting and implementing lessons learned.
Evaluate, approve, and release design changes, specifications, and engineering drawings.
Support prototype builds, testing, validation, and the transition of new products into production.
Maintain engineering documentation, including drawings, models, revisions, and engineering change records.
Apply structured product-development and engineering tools including Phase/Gate, ECOs, DFMEA, PFMEA, DFM, tolerance stack-ups, DVP&R, PPAP, and process validation.
Work directly with customers and suppliers regarding technical requirements, design changes, and prototype coordination.
Partner cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations to resolve technical and production challenges.
Support root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
Must have 5+ years of mechanical design engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
Must have experience working on new product development or prototype builds.
Strong proficiency with Solid Works or similar 3D CAD software.
Experience with any electromechanical product design is a plus (valves, solenoids, pumps, motors, servos, etc). Why Consider This Opportunity?
Own products across the full development lifecycle rather than working on isolated design tasks.
See your designs move directly from concept and CAD through prototype, validation, and production.
Work closely with manufacturing and gain meaningful exposure to real-world production challenges.
Influence product cost, quality, manufacturability, reliability, and performance.
Collaborate directly with customers and suppliers on technical requirements and product development.
Work in a collaborative engineering and manufacturing environment.
Continued opportunities for technical growth and leadership development.#INC1
