2nd Shift Saw Operator (Temp-to-Hire)

Are you an experienced Saw Operator looking for a challenging temp-to-hire opportunity in Pewaukee, WI
? We're seeking a skilled individual to join our team on 2nd shift (Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM), with initial training on 1st shift.

This role offers a competitive pay rate of $19.00-$21.00/hour
, increasing by $2/hour once hired on permanently.

In this role, you ll be responsible for precise material cutting and deburring while prioritizing safety and efficiency.

• Cut and deburr materials to exact job specifications using various fabrication equipment, including cold saws, band saws, lathes, and deburring machines.
• Efficiently set up and operate diverse cutting machines and deburring equipment. Perform routine equipment and building maintenance.
• Read and interpret blueprints, utilize measuring equipment (calipers, mics, tape, etc.), and ensure all operations adhere to strict safety protocols. Identify and report any potential safety concerns.
• Safely and efficiently coordinate and perform all warehouse duties, including operating shop equipment and forklift operation.

• Experience: At least one year of successful performance in a shop environment.
• Skills: Proven ability to set up and operate various cutting machines (cold saw, band saw, lathe) and deburring machines. Previous experience with blueprint reading and using measuring equipment (calipers, mics, tape, etc.).
• Certifications: Previous forklift experience required.
• Availability: Must be able to train on 1st shift as required.
