CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant Responsibilities

• Providing care as directed by a nursing supervisor and according to the patient’s plan of care

CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant Requirements

• One (1) year of documented health care experience in the home
• Successfully completed a state-approved Nurse Aide Training Program and listed on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry
• Current CPR certification and a negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Licensed driver with insured and reliable transportation
• Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the client's mobility. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
