Job Description
We are seeking candidates with open availability to work a flexible schedule, including the following shifts:
- Sunday: 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Monday: 11:30 AM – 8:30 PM
- Tuesday – Thursday: 5:30 AM – 8:30 PM
- Friday: 5:30 AM – 7:30 PM
- Saturday: 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, is essential.
About Bio Life Plasma Services
Every day, the donors you meet will motivate you. The high‑quality plasma you collect becomes life‑changing medicines. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and perform as a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations.
Role Overview
As a Medical Support Specialist, you will determine donor eligibility, manage donor adverse events, review laboratory test results, and notify donors of unsuitable test results. You will work under the guidance of the Center Manager (or Assistant Manager) for operational support and under the Center Physician for medical issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, medical history interview, physical examination, blood testing, and review of Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE).
- Evaluate donor reactions and follow SOPs for medical emergencies, including development of standing orders and donor transport to emergency care facilities.
- Consult with the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical issues and unacceptable findings.
- Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
- Manage employee incidents and coordinate further evaluation with occupational health/ER.
- Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support pandemic investigations.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent, or graduate‑equivalent nursing program with state requirements.
- Currently licensed or certified (LPN or LVN) in the state of assignment.
- Current CPR and AED certification.
- State licensing for basic IV therapy.
- Completion of FDA‑approved training for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
- Two years of clinical or hospital experience.

Compensation and Benefits Summary
U.S. hourly wage range: $25.00 – $34.38. Additional incentives, medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) plan with match, disability coverage, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well‑being benefits. U.S. employees are eligible for up to 80 hours of sick time and, for new hires, up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
