The Goddard School® located in Pflugerville, TX is growing and looking to add a caring, energetic, and reliable afternoon/part‑time teacher assistant to our amazing team of early childhood educators. If you love working with children and want to support a high‑quality learning environment, we would love to hear from you!

We are hiring specifically for an afternoon schedule of 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. You must be able to work with all ages, ranging from 6 weeks old to 5 years of age.

• Competitive pay: $14–$16/hour (based on experience & qualifications)

• High school diploma or GED
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. to safely support young children
• Strong communication skills and a professional, positive attitude
• Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently
  
  Empathy, patience, and a genuine love for working with children

• Prior experience in a licensed child care center
• Experience supporting infants, toddlers, or preschool‑age children

• Partner with a Lead Teacher to create a warm, safe, and engaging classroom environment
• Maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment
• Assist with daily routines, activities, and curriculum implementation
• Support each child’s social and emotional development
• Demonstrate warmth, kindness, and professionalism at all times
• Build positive relationships with families
• Be dependable, flexible, and a great team player
