As a Patient Care Coordinator
, you’ll help patients navigate their care while supporting the day-to-day operations of our front office. Responsibilities may include:

• Welcoming patients and creating a positive first impression
• Scheduling and confirming appointments
• Managing phone calls, texts, emails, and patient communications
• Reviewing treatment plans and helping patients understand their next steps
• Coordinating treatment appointments and follow-up care
• Verifying dental insurance eligibility and benefits
• Understanding dental terminology, CDT codes, and insurance processes
• Submitting and following up on dental insurance claims when needed
• Reviewing estimated patient portions and collecting payments
• Maintaining accurate patient information and documentation
• Helping keep the schedule productive and organized
• Following up with patients who have unscheduled treatment
• Working closely with the dentist, hygienist, assistants, and other team members
• Helping identify opportunities to improve the patient experience and office workflow

Our ideal candidate is someone who is:

• Experienced: At least 1 year of dental front-office experience preferred
• Patient-Focused: Friendly, compassionate, and comfortable communicating with different personalities
• Organized: Able to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining attention to detail
• Insurance-Savvy: Familiar with dental insurance eligibility, benefits, claims, and common CDT codes
• Confident: Comfortable discussing treatment, scheduling, and financial expectations with patients
• Reliable: Consistent, punctual, and accountable
• Team-Oriented: Willing to help wherever needed and contribute to a positive work environment
• Growth-Minded: Open to learning new systems, workflows, and responsibilities

Experience with dental practice management software and electronic insurance systems is a plus.
