Baylor Scott and White Health Medical Center - Pflugerville is seeking an experienced, BC/BE Acute Care General Surgeon to join our General Surgery Program in Pflugerville, TX

Candidates must be BC/BE in General Surgery.
This will be a leadership position for a committed team player with a favorable work/training history, a passion for patient care, and entrepreneurial and leadership skills to grow within our Department of Surgery and General Surgery practice as we move toward Trauma designation. The ideal candidate should be focused on quality and able to collaborate effectively with referring physicians, agencies and other professionals to provide outstanding patient care in a community-based and well-resourced hospital setting.
PositionInformation
- Bread-and-butter general surgery.
- At least three years of associated experience.
- We are seeking an established General Surgeon to provide leadership, advance technology and surgical innovation, introduce state-of-the-art techniques, and build upon an established program of excellence for general surgery.

Baylor Scott and White Medical Center - Pflugerville is a 25-bed full-service medical center, currently undergoing expansion to 50 beds, pursuing Level III Trauma Designation. The hospital offers comprehensive, personalized quality healthcare with access to a wide network of medical expertise and resources, and an emphasis on wellness alongside sick care. A care clinic adjacent to the hospital is also undergoing expansion, adding service lines (Orthopedics, OBGYN, Urology) as well as new service lines (Ophthalmology, Dermatology, ENT).

Qualifications- Doctorate Degree in Medicine
- Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
- Where Applicable - Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate board certification by the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
