Senior Mechanical Designer

POSITION SUMMARY

** Evaluate and design plumbing projects and systems to specification on projects ranging from new design/build to rehabilitation of existing facilities and systems. Provide ongoing technical guidance and engineering issue resolution as needed. **

• Extensive knowledge of engineering and design techniques plus thorough understanding of all engineering disciplines for coordination purposes
• Extensive AutoCAD/BIM knowledge and experience
• Extensive knowledge of Building Codes and Construction Standards
• Excellent analytical and technical writing skills
• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
• Advanced computer proficiency, including MS Office

What you bring to the table:

• 4-yr. mechanical engineering degree or 10 years practical design experience
• Current CPD and ASPE membership strongly preferred
• LEED-accredited Professional certification strongly preferred
• 5+ years experience in designing and developing plumbing systems from concept to completion
