Regional Quality & Benchmarking Specialist, AR Sortable

Amazon is seeking a Regional Quality & Benchmarking Specialist to build and implement quality systems for the Reliability & Maintenance Engineering (RME) team. The role guides field teams in creating effective decision‑making tools for site managers, evaluates RME performance, and implements best practices to improve reliability metrics year over year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish parts cage quality standards and develop standard work around parts quality management.
  • Develop a forward‑looking risk‑based interface to assist site leaders in prioritizing work based on risk of asset failure.
  • Partner with central reliability and RAPA teams to develop tools, processes, and automation to track audit and parts mechanisms across the organization.
  • Establish RME standard work for determining maintenance procedure quality and details for all sites maintenance providers.
  • Perform regular maintenance audits in the field and analyze compliance with standard work best practices for all RME scope.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using AMS standards.
  • Identify and validate new company‑wide program management processes and resources that meet the highest safety and effectiveness standards.
  • Contribute as a senior quality engineer on a high‑performing team that defines and audits the quality of RME maintenance procedures and execution.
  • Help define the 3‑5 year RME quality strategic vision, build a long‑term roadmap, and deliver innovative, scalable testing solutions and programs.
  • Travel domestically up to 80 %.
Basic Qualifications ul>
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Reliability Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Reliability Program Manager or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
  • Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience in Lean Management, Six Sigma, and other operations engineering tools.
    • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing tools such as 5S, 5Y, FMEA, PDCA, Value Stream Mapping, DMAIC, Run Charts, and Pareto Analysis.
    • Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
    • Strong analytical skills for deep data dives.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects.
    • PMP certification.
