IIT8 USA Corporation, based in Austin, Texas, is part of Middle Ground Capital, a private equity firm headquartered in Lexington, Kentucky. Founded in 2004, IT8 began as a mechanical design and engineering office. Today, we deliver Body-in-White, warehouse automation, and industrial automation services across Europe, India, Mexico, Germany, and the United States.

IT8 Engineering is expanding across the U.S. and seeking Project Managers to lead automation and engineering projects from planning to execution.

Job Title:

Project Manager, Senior and Junior levels available.

Open positions: 5 Senior openings, 5 Junior openings.

Location:

Our projects are currently expected to take place in Austin, TX, Blythewood, SC, Reno, NV, and Normal, IL.

• Plan and implement initiatives, including developing project plans, defining objectives and deliverables.
• Manage teams, including creating and leading project teams, assigning tasks, clarifying roles and fostering a collaborative working environment.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related matters, ensuring communication with team members and stakeholders while also meeting the needs of the client.
• Manage potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them by monitoring risk factors.
• Create and manage project budgets by estimating costs, tracking expenditures and ensuring that the project stays within the agreed budget.
• Ensure quality control by monitoring project deliverables and ensuring compliance with established standards.
• Make critical decisions throughout the project lifecycle, evaluating options, weighing risks and benefits and considering feedback and input from team members and stakeholders.
• Track and report on project performance in terms of pre-defined metrics, taking corrective action if necessary to ensure that the project is up to date and that project documentation is accurately recorded.
• Ensure that the processes generate the expected results and meet the requirements of the GIS System.

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience in project management in the automotive industry.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Customer focus and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with SAP.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Advanced level of English and Spanish.
• Authorization to work in the United States. We accept TN Visa holders.
