General Manager

Overview

We are seeking a full-time General Manager  role offers a competitive wage and benefits for full-time employees, including health insurance. The schedule will vary depending on the needs of the restaurant.

• Handle a wide variety of responsibilities including executing annual financial, local restaurant marketing, guest service, and human resource objectives to support the restaurant’s success.
• Manage the restaurant floor and maintain regular contact with guests; address guest complaints professionally and promptly within acceptable limits.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations applicable to the unit.
• Recruit, train, and retain employees; coach staff; document performance issues and administer the restaurant hourly compensation plan.
• Adhere to current SOP and operations plan; monitor and improve ongoing coaching and performance.
• Ensure food meets SOP specifications, recipes, plating, garnishes, and is served at appropriate temperatures within standard ticket times.
• Maintain adequate supplies (food, paper, kitchen, safety, janitorial, uniforms, linen, and miscellaneous items); order food timely and keep inventory to a minimum to avoid out-of-stock items.
• Oversee the operational condition of equipment and the building; ensure compliance with regulations and SOP; manage sanitation practices and security measures.
• Implement national and local marketing promotions and complete required reports and paperwork for proper documentation and communication within the organization.

• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Valid driver's license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to speak and read English
• Basic math skills
