Commercial HVAC/R Technician
TWC has an opportunity for a qualified Technician in our San Antonio office.
Job SummaryEfficiently and effectively troubleshoots and repairs equipment to maintain and acquire new clients, which may include exposure to various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, storms, and other environmental factors.

Skills:
Demonstrates a solid understanding of the operating standards within their trade/license, enabling safe and effective troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of equipment/systems in a cost‑efficient way. Recognizes when a task requires additional expertise or collaboration with other trades to complete. - Client Service:
Provides exceptional service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience throughout the service process. Communicates clearly with clients to understand their HVAC issues and provide explanations of services, repairs, and recommendations. Proactively identifies repair and replacement recommendations in an effort to reduce emergency repairs and limit disruption to our clients' business. - Recommended Repairs:
Identifies and recommends necessary repairs or replacements to minimize emergencies and business disruptions for our clients. Assesses all relevant equipment at the client’s location and suggests only solutions in their best interest. Effectively documents all details needed for quoting and completing the work in one visit. - Reporting:
Enters all required information into the system accurately and in real time to ensure thorough and timely service reports with accurate reporting of labor time and parts/materials used. - Safe Driving:
Consistently drives in accordance with applicable laws and company best practices. Ensures defensive driving practices. Sets up van to minimize any distractions. - Company Assets:
Keeps company vehicles, tools, equipment, and inventory organized and in good condition. Keeps van stocked with the appropriate inventory and in a cost‑effective manner.
- 3-5 years of field technician experience
- High School Diploma/GED
